Went to dinner with E tonight. It was a beautiful night, and the smell of the saltwater in the air always makes me happy. It was a perfect summer evening (except for having to get up early for work tomorrow). The couple sitting next to us was hilarious though.
Her order: a cheeseburger with cheese. Really? Oh, and fries extra-crispy. Didn't know you could request a personal batch of fries in a pub, but good to know.
His order: fish and chips, with two tubs of tarter and one empty tub. What? Is he planning to build something with the tubs? What purpose does an empty tub serve in the fish and chips world? Because now I'm curious.
