It's a fun memoir by a gal who used to work as a case officer for the CIA, stationed in Macedonia (didn't know that was a real place, by the way, which should come as no surprise to you since the only people reading this know me well enough to know I have absolutely no sense of geography. I'm lucky they hadn't yet invented the Geography Bee when I was in school or I might have been kicked out of my GATE class. I promise you, at one time I knew all the countries in Africa, but what good did that do since they've all changed since? We stuck to spelling bees, which I'm glad for since as far as I know all the words are still spelled the same). But apparantly one thing she was doing in Macedonia was pursuing secrets that might lead to the capture of this guy, Radovan Karadzic, a very very very bad guy:

I started this book over the weekend, and today, read the headline on CNN that he was captured. Now I'm not saying it had anything to do with me, but maybe next I will read a book about bin laden.
