Awesome: houses with 4 bedrooms and a yard.
Not Awesome: houses with 4 bedrooms and only 1 bathroom. Who designed these? Wouldn't you buy a 4-bedroom house because you anticipate more than a couple people living there? Does a family really want to share 1 bathroom? Gross. I'm sure I sound spoiled, and I should be more concerned about my carbon footprint or something, but really, 1 bathroom? I just don't think that's going to work for me.
How hard a remodel project is it to add a bathroom? Cause there's this cool house with a weird outdoor "room" with a skylight off the tiled deck. E likes it because it looks like there's a fridge, and maybe a counter in that little room that would be perfect for barbecueing or other outdoor cooking. I like the rose garden in the yard. Well, and the fact that it actually has a yard. Even in Seattle, for $350,000, I'd like a yard that doesn't stare directly into a neighbor's kitchen or living room. Just a tiny bit of private outdoor space would be so lovely.
