Crazy Crazy Day

Right, so at this moment I should probably getting things ready for my sister's arrival tonight. I can't wait to hang out, and was counting on this afternoon to do some last minute stuff like put together some snacks for our girls night, make sure the movie works, take out the trash, and find her a towel (since everything is packed and in E's garage).

I got home early from work because I had a doctor's appointment that I rescheduled after I sat there for awhile and they finally came out and said she's running an hour late. Since tomorrow I will be driving 4 of us around to look for bridesmaid dresses, I of course need to clean out my car. First I watch a bit of the E Channel about Anna Nicole Smith, spread my mail all over my ottoman, and check some email.

I clean out my car for roughly 20 minutes, and when I come back inside, there's a man and an old lady with a walker in my house. I about had a heart attack, and for a split second wondered if I'd lost my mind and gone in the wrong door. But no, it was a realtor and his client, and they stopped by, and went on in when I didn't answer the door.

I told them I'd come back a little later so they could look around the place. I leave, and quickly realized I've left my purse sitting on the bench in the hallway, my laptop open on the ottoman, and my mail and bills spread all over the place. I can't go anywhere, because I have nothing with me, so I go for a walk.

A couple blocks away, I found one of my flyers on the ground, all runover and crappy looking. It had been there awhile and had obviously been rained on and then dried. The really weird thing is that it is one of these skinny little flyers that are only inside my unit, not in the box on the sign outside. So for someone to get one to later drop on the ground a couple blocks away, they would have had to have been inside my house. Creepy and weird.

I get home, and decide to check my phone to see if that guy had called and I had just missed the call. He hadn't, but someone else had called while all of this was going on, and was going to have her client there right then. I flew around in a panic to put away my laptop and the mail, turn off the tv, grab my bag and get out before they arrive. I get to my car and am pulling out, and there they are waiting for my parking spot.

This is all just so bizarre, because my condo has been available since May. I have gone weeks with no one at all calling or wanting to see it. And then suddenly, I'm caught completely off guard by these guys coming by with little or no notice. Someone else saw it this morning, but they called last night to let me know.

So so very weird, but lets hope for an offer from one of these guys!
