Bachelorette parties rock! Mine was very tasteful, thanks to my awesome friends. Lunch with e and the 'maids, followed closely by a stop at Top Pot Donuts (amazing donut, glad I live nowhere near this place!).
We made ourselves sick on donuts and then checked into our four star hotel. Wow, fun! We even got a pet goldfish for the night. We got ready, caught a cab, and hobbled on our ridiculous-yet-beautiful shoes to the Pink Door for super-yummy italian food. And then gourmet cupcakes! And then martinis! And then to an all time favorite, old standby, go-to place--Fado. There were several moments of hilarity. T announced she had been there before, and could escort M to the ladies room--and promptly escorted her right into the men's room! M felt something tickling her toe all evening, and finally pulled and earplug out of her shoe. J has proven to be the car bomb queen, finishing before anyone else, while M cleverly poured most of her apple-y shot thing into H's glass while we were all toasting. H laughed and didn't realize it got into her own glass! H and M danced with a tree, M and H showed off their tattoos on the dance floor, and I had to dance with a sweaty guy. I wore a crooked crown, and everyone had at least one Power Rangers moment with the light-up pink diamond rings.
The whole thing was totally tame, totally tasteful, and totally fun---thanks girls!!!!!
